Sometimes more than others, a concert at Moldejazz can point back to a memorable moment in our festival's history. In the anniversary year, we're paying these concerts a little extra attention and have labelled them «Legacy Concerts».

A true musical feast of our time. An organ trio, string ensembles, guitar heroes, Norwegian contributions, church organs, jazz pianists and much more are ingredients in our Artist In Residence, John Zorn's adventurous and thrilling week in Molde.

The Accessibility mark is a certification for cultural organisers who have good accessibility for people with disabilities at their events. Moldejazz has a good tradition of catering to those with special needs, and we're very pleased with receiving the Accessibility mark.
First Romsdalsmuseet release, 3-day pass to the museum and two dedicated Zorn passes
On Friday 17 July, Astrid S, Emilie Nicolas and Bendik will be playing at our picturesque outdoor venue, Romsdalsmuseet! Today we're also releasing 3-day passes to the museum, as well as 2 dedicated passes to John Zorn's concerts as Artist in Residence.

John Zorn - Artist in Residence 2020!
For 40 years John Zorn has been among the most creative and influential musicians in jazz. The famous sax player and composer has directed, influenced and organized a series of remarkable ensembles with some of the most original musicians in the genre. Now he is our next Artist in Residence at Moldejazz 2020, the year which also marks the festival’s 60th jubilee of continuous operation.
